Happy New Year

This year started off in a completely different place that I am now and I as look back at the past 365 days I can't believe the wonderful journey that has been 2014! After almost 10 years in film and TV production and a lot of encouragement and support from my fellow artists and friends at Pixar (ahem- Daniel Lopez Muñoz.. Tia Kratter.. to name a few) I decided that the time I had been looking forward to while simultaneously dreading my whole twenties had come; time to go it on my own and pursue my creative passions independently full time.

Honestly, I can say that the biggest challenge was making the decision to take the leap and leave behind a career in TV and film. A career that had inspired me, fed me, made me a community of inspired friends, and brought me to some of the most fantastic (and not so fantastic) places I know I may not have seen otherwise. Seems like ages ago I was flying out from New York to film my first episode as a PA on Wife Swap. Yikes! Ahhh yes yes people I have some funny credits on my IMDB including "Britney Spears Most Bizarre Moments" (shame on me).

I was refreshed once on the other side of the decision that I felt no need to look back in a nostalgic way, much like the good ol' Bob Dylan film implied. Forward was my only direction; I have since only felt like I made the right decision to feed my soul. I feel more focused than I have in a long time. How does the quote go? "Lean in the right direction and you will find the way," something like that. I truly feel that listening to this feeling has brought me the success of this year and my already booked up calendar next year.

There have been so many cherished times this year I feel truly lucky. To all of my clients, you make my job what it is. Thank you for continuing to take me on all of your adventures, for continuing to feed me to most amazing meals, introduce me to your families and friends. It's for you that I feel the most lucky!

2013

Taking some time to look back at the photos and times of 2013 today and appreciating this little life of mine. I feel so rich with friends, family, trips and memories. Being such a busy bee I feel like I really need to make a point to slow it down and check in to where the journey took me at the start of the year. It's still January right...not too shabby. / Jackson Hole, Wyoming / Made my first table / Palm Springs and that epic Taco Bell / Snowday in NY with Maritz / Cupsco / Ab Diving success / Crab Season / Pixar Cookbook / Hawaii with the Baberino/ Hanging with Joey in NY (I know you're tired...) / Catalina Pirate Days / Photographing The Dam Keeper Crew / Weddings.. Weddings... Weddings!

Into the Mind

Okay- not my content here but it will stoke you for snow season. You know when someone just hits it- and you think WHAT?! Mind melted. This is hands down the best cut trailer I have ever seen and delivers a hang on the edge of your seat feeling after. Oh I die! Can't wait to check out the film.
