Bernard Family Snowday

Just a couple fave photos of my favorite crazy family. Thanks to these girls I have "Do you wanna build a Snowman?" playing in my head on loop from now until forever!

2013

Taking some time to look back at the photos and times of 2013 today and appreciating this little life of mine. I feel so rich with friends, family, trips and memories. Being such a busy bee I feel like I really need to make a point to slow it down and check in to where the journey took me at the start of the year. It's still January right...not too shabby. / Jackson Hole, Wyoming / Made my first table / Palm Springs and that epic Taco Bell / Snowday in NY with Maritz / Cupsco / Ab Diving success / Crab Season / Pixar Cookbook / Hawaii with the Baberino/ Hanging with Joey in NY (I know you're tired...) / Catalina Pirate Days / Photographing The Dam Keeper Crew / Weddings.. Weddings... Weddings!

Let's Get SCHWIERD

It's no secret: I love to travel, take photographs, drink copious amounts of tequila, and swim I'm the ocean as much as I humanely can... which is why I am kicking off the new year with a post from my favorite wedding of last year, Ben and Julia Schwier (aka Los Schwierdos) from the beautiful white sands of Tul├╣m, Mexico!
Talk about a destination wedding to go down in the books folks! The weekend was the perfect combination of friends and adventure partying in the name of love. Julia, a Pilates instructor, added a personal touch to the wedding by teaching an am Pilates class the morning before the wedding. It's funny how when you do a destination wedding how people mix and mingle- forming their own plans as well. "Sunrise Swims" became the tradition where sleepy eyed guests rose with the sun to hop in the ocean water together. September sea turtle season made the nights interesting, as a matter of fact on the eve of the big day Ben and Julia were drinking a cocktail on our deck as a nest of 50 turtles hatched right below them.
On the wedding day musical friends and guests,Regan Fykes of Grillade and Nate of A Million Billion Dying Suns played as Ben and Julia walked down the aisle. I was happy to paint and water colored maps and welcome packs for the guests.
I hope you enjoy.
