Brian & Holly

I wanted to share Brian and Holly's wedding slideshow with you guys so you can get the whole picture of what kind of good comes out of a wedding at The Holly Farm in Carmel Valley. Congratulations to Brian and Holly on their wedding day.

Taking a first look!

Sweet ride brought by Holly's dad.

The Holly Farm sets up a mean ass cigar bar.

No cake for the guests.. just delicious homemade ice cream sandwiches. My fave was the salted caramel.

Brian and holly's guest book. Can you tell he is a musician?

Julia's Senior Portraits

Senior portraits have come a long way since i graduated High School. No more velvet drapes and hair spray, no sir. Look at this beautiful gal- I had a blast tromping around with Julia and her mom Mia taking these.

Here are some tips for portraits being that it's that time of year!
1) Bring a stylet friend. It makes it more fun to have a buddy around. They can help you coordinate outfit changes and hold your gear while you are being photographed.
2) Take advantage of magic hour. Golden light is your friend!
3) Bring something casual and a little more dressy, that way you will have some great variety to choose from.
4) Make the portraits reflect your style! That means go somewhere where you feel in your element. Grab a coffee of ice cream from your favorite spot, go to your favorite beach. You are moving out soon- your pics will be that much more special one day when you look back on them.

Family Portraits with Naomi and CJ

I will always remember the years growing up how my mom wrangled my brother and me up for family portraits with Betty Albert, our family photographer. The weeks thereafter consisted of stuffing photos into cards with photo corners, working on the family christmas letter and addressing them out to every aunt, uncle, cousin and loved one. My mom had in impressive Franklin Covey address book totally organized. I LOVED spending this time with her and working on our little project. Now that I am grown and take family photos for other people I realize how awesome it is to see a family grow year after year. I took Dahlia's pics when she was first born. Now she's chatting up a storm and bartering for lollipops. This is truly a treat for me that I consider myself lucky to get to be a part of. xo Nay and CJ!
