I knew when these two walked in the door they were trouble! I loved every minute last year of shooting Mary and AJ's wedding and engagement
. Now they wen't on and got their pretty little faces published in the Knot Northern, CA. Look for it on stands this summer. If you couldn't tell their family was all about fun. So happy to share a few of my favorite shots from their wedding with you!
I have admired Joey's personal work for a few years now. A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to take two days away from the daily grind at Pixar and do a lighting workshop with him in New York and support his film project People of The Delta
. There were 20 of us photographers there, it felt great being back in New York and going photo geek with a bunch of like minded folks. I learned so much and aside from the technique I brought home I also was reminded over a lunchtime chat with Joey to be fearless in my work. I think often as artists, it is difficult to take risks in what we do, to play it safe. This workshop was the perfect inspiration to not lose sight of the things you wish to surround yourself with. It reminds me of one of my favorite quotes below. Thanks Joey :)
